What type of images and videos can I post?

Our standards for photos and videos are very similar to other general audience social media sites. Keep in mind that we welcome the next generation of sailors to participate in Sea & Wind.

Does Sea & Wind welcome windsurfers, power boaters and other water sports enthusiasts?

Of course! Although we’ve designed Sea & Wind for sailing, in a way, anyone on a water craft is a sailor.

No, we do not sell our member data.

Which browsers work best with Sea & Wind?

We’re testing extensively on all browsers. Currently we suggest using the Chrome browser for the fewest issues. Firefox would be second. Safari on MacOS is still buggy, as is Internet Explorer.

How can I have a Listing on the Map?

Map Listings are reserved for Marinas (larger marinas, and marinas with guest docks), Other Public Docks, Yacht Clubs and Sailing Schools. If you would like to suggest a map listing, please contact us.

Sponsor listings are offered to businesses that are highly relevant to the sailing community. Examples are boat yards, chandleries and rigging shops. If you’d like to be a map sponsor, please contact our advertising department.
